Qualifications

• 2–4 years of property underwriting or related personal lines experience.
• Experience evaluating property risk characteristics and applying underwriting guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Proficiency with underwriting platforms, exposure assessment tools, and BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business and renewal submissions for homeowners and residential property lines.
• Manage daily underwriting activities including inspections, endorsements, and system tasks.
• Evaluate property risks per established guidelines and risk appetite.
• Identify profitable risks while minimizing adverse selection and meet production standards.
• Provide timely, professional communication to agents and partners.
