Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group seeks an experienced Personal Lines Underwriter to review applications, inspections, and endorsements to determine eligibility and coverage. You will analyze risk within underwriting rules and support agents with guidance on policy forms and coverage options.

Responsibilities include handling cancellations, endorsements, and renewals while maintaining accurate workflow and compliance. The role offers remote and hybrid options with Eastern Time availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university preferred.
• Active 2-20 or 4-40 license, or industry designation such as CPCU or CIC preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Property/Casualty underwriting principles for personal lines.

Responsibilities

• Review and process applications, inspections, endorsements to determine eligibility.
• Accept or reject applications, determine coverage and pricing within guidelines.
• Support agents and clients with guidance on policy forms and coverage options.
• Maintain timely workflow and compliance with underwriting standards.
• Participate in training and process improvements to enhance underwriting quality.
