Job summary

Holman Insurance Services is seeking a Personal Lines Sales Agent. The role involves engaging Holman dealerships to promote insurance services, building a referral network, and assessing personal lines needs with a consultative approach.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree or equivalent, holds a Property & Casualty license, and at least one year in insurance. Travel within local NJ/PA markets is expected; evening/weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Minimum of one-year experience in insurance industry.
• Maintains a $25,000 minimum monthly average premium in personal lines with at least 10 households/month.
• Maintains a quality book of business - 85% retention and 1.4 policies per household.

Responsibilities

• Engage Holman dealerships to raise awareness of Holman Insurance Services.
• Develop and maintain a list of introductions and prospects from dealerships and referrals.
• Contact introductions via phone, email, personal correspondence, social media to assess personal lines needs.
• Develop quotes addressing clients' situation with a consultative, value-based approach.
• Generate new business applications for personal lines Property & Casualty insurance with timely submission.
• Assist with client service needs including policy changes, billing questions, claims inquiries.
