Job summary

Holman Insurance Services is seeking a Personal Lines Sales Agent to engage Holman dealerships and grow personal lines business. You will build relationships, assess household insurance needs, and prepare consultative quotes for carriers.

You will develop introductions, follow up with prospects, and submit applications while working toward premium and retention targets. Travel within local markets is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Minimum of one-year experience in insurance industry.
• Maintains a $25,000 minimum monthly average premium in personal lines with at least 10 households/month.
• Maintains a quality book of business – 85% retention and 1.4 policies per household.

Responsibilities

• Engage key personnel at Holman dealerships to raise awareness of Holman Insurance Services.
• Develop and maintain an active list of introductions and prospects.
• Contact introductions using various methods to assess personal lines needs.
• Develop quotes and information addressing client needs with a consultative approach.
• Generate new business applications for personal lines Property & Casualty insurance.
• Field questions on coverage options, discounts, and pricing.
• Work with management to achieve premium and retention targets.
• Act as a brand ambassador for the insurance group.
• Assist with client service needs including policy changes and billing questions.
