The Hartford seeks a Performance Analytics Consultant to own analytics that measure and monitor the performance of key claims processes and trends. You will work with Claims Strategy and Optimization, Claims Performance Analytics, and business leaders to identify opportunities to optimize processes and execution, using data to drive decisions.

This role offers a hybrid or remote schedule, with some office days and occasional in-person requirements based on business needs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in claims or insurance preferred.
• Strong problem solving, communication, customer focus and change management skills.
• Ability to build strong partnerships essential to success.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and draw conclusions.
• Experience visualizing data for storytelling is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and set priorities.
• Lead without formal authority and work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing trends in operations and technology.
• Strong attention to customer needs and translating them into actionable solutions.
• Track record of creating innovative data solutions; delivering outcomes.
• Knowledge of BI and data collection/visualization tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Understands end-to-end performance of critical processes and sub-processes.
• Identifies variability in performance metrics and helps root-cause analysis.
• Evaluates impact of process changes and recommends priorities to Field leadership.
• Participates in cross-functional design teams on prioritized opportunities.
• Monitors data trends and process metrics; presents trends to leadership.
• Monitors impact of deployed changes to validate effectiveness.
• Considers end-to-end ramifications of changes on other processes.
• Supports cross-pollination of Claims processes enterprise-wide.
