Job summary

CBRE in the United States is seeking a People Business Partner to support the rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This role is remote in the USA, with travel up to 40% and potential site visits in large facilities.

You will design and monitor HR programs within the People Strategy and Operations function. You will collaborate with managers to manage employment, labor relations, compensation, and performance management while delivering training and coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience/education considered.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages, fractions and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling.
• Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and assist with investigations/grievances.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a unit or business line.
• Conduct training on topics including performance management and diversity.
• Apply standard principles to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative HR solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines.
• Lead by example and build consensus to reach agreements.
