Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner for the Remote USA to support rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. You will contribute to onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management while aiding managers in identifying risks and guiding employee relations.

This role supports the People Strategy and Operations function, travels up to 40% monthly, and prioritizes CBRE RISE values, collaboration, and innovation in HR solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and support investigations.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation for a unit.
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and more.
• Apply knowledge to deliver innovative HR solutions and coach others.
