Job summary

TeamSnap, a fully remote company, is seeking a versatile People Experience Specialist to support benefits, HRIS, and onboarding for a distributed team. You'll own parental leave, manage annual benefits cycles, partner with Payroll, and ensure compliance across federal, state, and local requirements while delivering thoughtful employee support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in an HR/People Operations or HR Generalist role.
• HRIS experience; Paycor is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and service mindset.
• Ability to support a remote or distributed team.
• Excellent communication and empathy for sensitive processes like parental leave.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line of support for employee and manager HR questions, resolving routine inquiries and routing complex issues to specialists.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity across the employee lifecycle and assist with new hires and offboarding.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate communication of employee changes and timely updates across systems.
• Own the execution of parental leave end-to-end, guiding employees through timelines and required paperwork.
• Lead annual benefits open enrollment, draft communications, and upload rates into the HRIS while coordinating with Finance and Payroll.
• Maintain compliance documentation (I-9s, leave paperwork, training trackers) across federal, state, and local requirements.
• Run onboarding, orientation, and culture programming for new TeamSnappers, including remote team-building efforts.
