Block is seeking a People Analyst to enable senior People leaders to make faster, data-backed decisions. You will turn ambiguous questions into robust analyses, build dashboards, and deliver actionable recommendations using analytics tools, data systems, and AI.

You will craft executive-ready materials, collaborate across HR functions, and drive improved data quality and self-service insights. A strong background in consulting, HR operations, and large datasets is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting or client management.
• Understanding of HR operations, talent processes, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle data.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and turn ambiguous questions into practical analyses.
• Strong problem-solving, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Clear storytelling and communication for executive audiences.
• SQL proficiency and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Working knowledge of data architecture, models, quality, and analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, Qualtrics, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior People leaders to clarify priorities and deliver data-backed insights.
• Build analyses, dashboards, and reports on workforce trends, talent outcomes, and organizational health.
• Use AI to accelerate reporting, automate repeatable analyses, and scale insights.
• Translate ambiguous requests into structured analyses and practical recommendations.
• Create executive-ready materials that explain findings, implications, and actions.
• Consult across People functions, including HRBPs, Talent, Compensation, Operations, DEI, Learning, and Employee Experience.
• Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and self-service access to insights.
• Partner with data and systems teams to ensure accurate, reliable reporting.
• Proactively identify workforce trends, risks, and opportunities.
