Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for a remote US-based position with travel. The role focuses on providing technical leadership as Engineer of Record for electrical design on large commercial projects, including healthcare and central energy plant infrastructure.

A PE license and 10 years post-PE experience are required, with NEC expertise and strong mentoring skills. The candidate will direct projects, develop standards, and coordinate with cross-functional teams while traveling

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• 10 years of post-PE experience on large commercial projects.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to lead a team for complex electrical design projects.
• Experience with Healthcare, Higher Education and Central Energy Plant electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical engineering of projects per NEC and company standards.
• Provide technical direction as Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Mentor Electrical Engineers, Designers, and BIM/CAD Technicians.
• Prepare study reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate design solutions with multi-disciplinary teams.
