Job summary

ENFRA, a leader in energy infrastructure, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE to serve as the Engineer of Record for electrical design solutions on major projects. You will guide technical direction, ensure NEC compliance, and contribute to integrated project teams.

Responsibilities include budgeting, schedules, studies, drawings, and mentoring engineers and BIM/CAD staff. Travel 10–20% to sites; strong communication is essential; a PE and degree in electrical or architectural engineering are

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Five years of experience post-PE license.
• Experience designing large commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordination with project teams and AHJ.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical engineering of projects per NEC and company standards.
• Assist PM with budgets, execution plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Execute electrical engineering tasks within scope, budget, and quality.
• Prepare studies, drawings, and specifications for stamping.
• Provide mentoring and technical direction to engineers and designers.
• Attend client meetings and document notes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and AHJ during design.
• Support QA reviews across disciplines.
• Attend site visits to survey existing conditions.
