Job summary

ENFRA LLC seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership as the Engineer of Record for electrical design solutions. The role directs engineers, BIM/CAD technicians and the integrated project team, ensuring quality and adherence to NEC standards.

Requirements include a PE license, a degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, and at least ten years post-PE experience, with specific expertise in healthcare, higher education and CEP electrical infra projects.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Ten years of post-PE experience.
• Experience designing large commercial projects.
• Working knowledge of the NEC.
• Ability to lead a team on complex electrical projects.
• Experience with Healthcare, Higher Education and CEP electrical infra.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical engineering of projects per NEC and company standards.
• Assist PM to establish budgets, plans, estimates and schedules.
• Execute electrical engineering within budget, schedule and quality targets.
• Prepare study reports, drawings and specifications as needed.
• Create addenda and supplemental instructions for projects.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to Engineers and Designers.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with project team, clients and AHJ.
• Coordinate design with other disciplines in the project team.
• Support QA reviews for all project disciplines.
• Attend site visits to investigate existing conditions.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards and tools.
