Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE to lead electrical design efforts for large commercial projects. You will serve as the Engineer of Record on integrated project teams and ensure NEC compliance while guiding technical direction.

You will mentor engineers and BIM/CAD staff, prepare design documents, addenda, and proposals, and coordinate with clients and AHJs. Travel 10-20% of the time is expected.

Qualifications

• Required Baccalaureate Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• Five years of post-PE experience on large commercial projects.
• Demonstrated NEC knowledge and code compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical engineering of projects per NEC and company standards.
• Assist Project Manager with budgets, execution plans, estimates and schedules.
• Execute electrical engineering work within approved budgets and timelines.
• Prepare study reports, drawings and specifications for stamping as required.
• Prepare addenda and supplemental instructions for projects.
• Mentor Electrical Engineers, Designers and BIM/CAD Technicians.
