Job summary

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled PCB Designer to design and lay out complex PCBs using Altium Designer. You will collaborate with electrical engineers to translate schematics into optimized board layouts and ensure signal, power, and thermal integrity across multi-layer designs.

The role is fully remote with working hours aligned to EST, contract-based, and based out of New York, NY. Compensation is hourly with eligibility for standard benefits as applicable to the temporary role.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency with Altium Designer.
• Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience managing component libraries for manufacturing.
• Ability to design and lay out high-layer PCBs (416+ layers).

Responsibilities

• Design and layout complex, multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate schematics into optimized board layouts.
• Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal performance in designs.
• Manage library components and generate production-ready output files.
