We are currently looking for a skilled CAD Designer with a strong background in electrical engineering and Altium Designer to join our top-tier electronics manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design of intricate multi-layer PCBs, working closely with our engineering staff to guarantee that all products meet high standards for manufacturability.
Key Duties
- Utilize Altium Designer to manage the full lifecycle of complex, multi-layer PCBs ranging from 4 to 16+ layers, moving from initial schematic capture through to final production.
- Work alongside electrical engineers to convert schematics into efficient layouts that prioritize thermal, power, and signal integrity.
- Execute precise component placement and routing to support high-speed digital, power electronic, and mixed-signal projects.
- Coordinate with fabrication partners to establish board stackups, via structures, and trace geometries that meet impedance requirements.
- Manage and update schematic symbols, footprints, and component libraries within the Altium environment to ensure design accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of dedicated experience in professional PCB layout.
- Advanced mastery of Altium Designer, including library management, schematic capture, output generation, and layout processes.
- A consistent track record of at least three years working directly with Altium Designer.
- Comprehensive knowledge of assembly and fabrication techniques, such as wave soldering, reflow, through-hole, and SMT.
- Proven ability to handle high-speed digital interfaces like Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and DDR, as well as power electronics including battery management, motor drivers, and DC-DC converters.
Compensation and Perks
- Comprehensive coverage including vision, dental, and medical plans.
- Protection through life insurance policies.
- Participation in our 401(k) retirement savings plan.
- Support for daily travel via commuter benefits.
- Access to continuous professional development and eLearning resources.
- Financial assistance for ongoing education.
Eligibility for these benefits is contingent upon maintaining a schedule of at least 30 hours weekly for an assignment duration of no less than 10 weeks.
