Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a skilled CAD Designer with a strong background in electrical engineering and Altium Designer to design complex multi-layer PCBs for a leading electronics manufacturing team.

You will work with engineers to ensure manufacturability, optimising for thermal, power, and high-speed performance across diverse projects. Excellent attention to detail and hands-on Altium experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of dedicated PCB layout experience.
• mastery of Altium Designer including library management and schematic capture.
• Three+ years hands-on Altium experience.
• Knowledge of assembly/fabrication: wave soldering, reflow, through-hole, SMT.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, USB, HDMI, DDR) and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end multi-layer PCBs (4–16+ layers) from schematic to production.
• Translate schematics into layouts prioritizing thermal, power, and signal integrity.
• Place and route components for high-speed digital, power, and mixed-signal projects.
• Coordinate with fabrication partners on stackups, vias, and trace geometries.
• Maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and libraries for accuracy.
