Job summary

Intuit’s Payroll Tax Operations seeks a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File with accuracy. The role operates on high volume workloads with independence, mentoring colleagues while expanding technical depth.

The position demands hands-on experience with notices, amended returns (Form 941‑X) and cross‑functional collaboration across Corrections, Amendments, and Pay & File teams. Raleigh, NC with flexible hours is supported.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience focusing on notices and amended returns.
• Experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Knowledge of FICA, FUTA, FITW and deposit schedules.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax casework for assigned accounts.
• Independently research and resolve complex notices across multiple states.
• Prepare written agency responses with documentation and submit on time.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941‑X and state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize SLA dates.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP/KB updates and cross‑team collaboration.
