Job summary

Procare HR is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist for a remote US-based role. You will lead payroll service implementations, act as the client’s payroll SME, and train users while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll roles, strong knowledge of HR systems, and a background in PEO or Shared Services. A Bachelor’s degree is required and UKG Ready experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, payroll analytics, or payroll system development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management, data analytics, or related field.
• Familiarity with payroll processes including auditing, calculations, withholdings, deductions, and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS/Payroll platforms; UKG Ready experience required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• PEO or HR Shared Services experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful implementation of client payroll services.
• Serve as client’s initial payroll contact and payroll SME.
• Test payroll-related modules and workflows.
• Train clients and internal users on payroll processes.
• Participate in process improvement and issue resolution.
