Job summary

WorkMotion is a remote-first company building a borderless future of work, with payroll operations spanning multiple entities worldwide. The Payroll Generalist will handle end-to-end payroll, collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across up to five entities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of payroll experience, ideally in payroll bureau or outsourced payroll environment.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll data.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver who can work independently and take ownership of solutions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with change.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll end to end for up to 5 entities, working with outsourced payroll vendors.
• Review payroll data and outputs for accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Investigate payroll issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Manage payroll inputs, deadlines, approvals, and key processes.
• Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes as the business grows.
