Job summary

WorkMotion is seeking a Payroll Generalist to join our remote-first team. You will manage payroll end to end across up to 5 entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while coordinating with outsourced vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires at least 12 months of payroll experience, strong data understanding, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Fluency in English is essential for cross-border collaboration in our globally distributed organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of payroll experience, ideally in a payroll bureau, provider, or outsourced environment.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll data.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver who can work independently and take ownership of finding solutions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and able to adapt to change.
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll end to end for up to 5 entities, collaborating with outsourced payroll vendors.
• Review payroll data and outputs for accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Investigate payroll issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Manage payroll inputs, deadlines, approvals, and key payroll processes.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes as the business grows.
