Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist in a largely remote role with occasional Arlington, VA in-person meetings for the Northern Virginia/DC area. You will manage end-to-end weekly payroll for ~400 employees, audit timesheets, and ensure accuracy across Deltek Costpoint and ADP.

You will handle leave calculations, labor distributions, and regulatory compliance, partnering with managers for timely submissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience in government contracting.
• Hands-on Deltek Costpoint payroll processing experience required.
• Strong understanding of labor accounting, timekeeping, payroll reconciliations, and government contracting compliance.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end weekly payroll processing for ~400 employees.
• Process and audit weekly timesheets from Excel and Deltek Time.
• Extract and format hours, leave, and payroll data for Deltek Costpoint and ADP.
• Perform SCA fringe benefit and Health & Welfare calculations with accurate labor allocations.
• Review and validate labor distributions, PLCs, and pay types.
• Manage leave calculations, accruals, and payouts.
• Process weekly transmissions through ADP and generate payroll reports.
• Reconcile Costpoint labor and payroll deductions to ADP payments monthly.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure timely timesheet submissions.
