Job summary

Teya Development, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own full-cycle payroll across multiple entities, using Deltek Costpoint and Deltek T&E. The role covers weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly cycles, including garnishments and off-cycle payments.

The ideal candidate will work independently in a multi-state environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong collaboration with HR, Accounting, Benefits, and Finance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 3+ years of end-to-end multi-state, multi-company payroll processing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint for in-house payroll.
• Familiarity with federal/state wage-and-hour laws and multi-state tax regulations.
• Experience handling garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; able to run payroll data exports and reports.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll across multiple companies and entities on weekly, biweekly, and semi-monthly cycles.
• Validate timesheets and resolve discrepancies before payroll processing.
• Administer pay calculations, deductions, and standard reporting in Costpoint.
• Audit payroll results and reconcile gross-to-net calculations; identify variances.
• Coordinate off-cycle payments, bonuses, and manual checks or direct deposits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local payroll laws and SOX controls.
