Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to oversee payroll processing across the U.S. and Canada.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration with HR, Finance, and other business partners. You will manage day-to-day operations, resolve complex payroll issues, and identify opportunities to improve processes and controls while ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time. Remote work from the U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience including U.S. and Canadian payroll
• Experience managing payroll teams and overseeing end-to-end operations
• Experience in a large, multi-state payroll environment
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, deductions, year-end reporting and SOX controls
• Experience with HR/payroll systems, integrations, and third-party providers

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the U.S. and Canada, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll schedules, processing activities, reconciliations, approvals, and reporting.
• Review payroll results, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex issues including off-cycle payments.
• Lead, coach, and develop the North American payroll team; manage workloads to meet deadlines.
• Support payroll system enhancements, integrations, and cross-functional initiatives.
