Qualifications

• Approximately 2–6 years of experience in payroll, invoicing or finance operations, ideally within a professional services or fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with US payroll processes, with exposure to Canadian payroll considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for employees and independent contractors across the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage timesheet administration, validate payroll information and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalised.
• Prepare, review and distribute client invoices, ensuring billing information is accurate and processed within agreed timelines.
• Support the reconciliation and review of employee benefits invoices and other payroll-related financial records.
• Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related enquiries, investigating and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate financial and payroll records, ensuring information is properly documented and readily accessible.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide additional finance and administrative support as required, adapting to the evolving needs of a growing organisation.
