Job summary

Reuben Sinclair | Sales, Marketing, PR, Data and Digital Recruitment partners with a growing professional services firm to appoint a Payroll Associate. This fully remote role (East Coast US) supports payroll and finance operations across the US and Canada, offering autonomy and a meaningful contribution to the business’s ongoing growth.

You will oversee payroll processing for employees and contractors, validate timesheets, prepare client invoices, and reconcile benefits invoices.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of payroll, invoicing, or finance operations experience.
• US payroll knowledge; Canadian payroll a plus.
• Strong numerical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll for US and Canada employees and contractors.
• Validate timesheets and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalised.
• Prepare, review and distribute client invoices with timely processing.
• Reconcile employee benefits invoices and related records.
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries and issues.
