Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to own the payroll function for a nationwide workforce. You will lead payroll compliance, tax, controls, and the vendor relationship (ADP), driving automation in a fast-growing construction-tech environment.

The role requires a hands-on leader who ensures accurate, timely payroll processing and strong internal controls across states and local jurisdictions. Remote-US work arrangement supports nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience and 5+ years leading a multi-person payroll function with nationwide scope.
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour law, payroll tax requirements, and multi-state compliance.
• Experience optimizing payroll processes and internal controls; payroll system configuration and change control.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll tax registrations, multi-state compliance, and reconciliations.
• Manage wage-and-hour compliance and retention of records across states.
• Lead payroll team, SOP governance, and ongoing process automation.
• Manage payroll vendor relationship and system interfaces (e.g., ADP, HRIS).
• Prepare payroll reporting packages for Finance, HR, and leadership.
