Job summary

Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team. You will handle biweekly and weekly payroll for union employees across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax and reporting requirements.

This remote-eligible role reports to the Danbury, CT site. Qualifications include 2+ years in payroll, ADP experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience with HS diploma; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in a union and manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organization and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly salary/hourly payroll for three facilities and ~1,500 employees.
• Consolidate timesheets and prepare submission to ADP.
• Setup direct deposit and tax withholding information; keep tax knowledge current.
• Process and monitor garnishment orders and other payroll issues.
• Reconcile general ledger with payroll transactions and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare reports (941s, 401k verifications) and year-end W-2 data.
