Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join the Naval Power Systems team. You will process biweekly salary/hourly payroll, including weekly payroll for hourly union employees, and balance and reconcile payroll figures for three facilities and about 1,500 employees.

This position is remote eligible and reports to our Danbury, CT site. Strong ADP, Microsoft Office, and payroll systems experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience with a HS diploma; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a union and manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ADP.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly salary/hourly payroll, and weekly payroll for hourly union employees.
• Consolidate timesheets and submit to ADP.
• Setup direct deposit and tax withholding information.
• Keep current with taxation of salaries, benefits and related factors.
• Process and monitor garnishments and payroll-related issues.
• Document and maintain payroll records.
