Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the DRS Naval Power Systems team. The role handles payroll for three facilities and ~1,500 employees, including biweekly salary/hourly payroll and weekly payroll for hourly union staff, with remote eligibility.

You will consolidate timesheets, submit to ADP, set up direct deposit and tax withholdings, and maintain payroll records. Strong ADP, Microsoft Office, and payroll procedures knowledge is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience with HS diploma; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in a union and manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organization and mathematical skills.
• Experience with ADP is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of payroll procedures and computerized payroll systems.
• Able to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
• U.S. Citizenship required; security clearance possible.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly salary/hourly payroll and weekly payroll for hourly union employees.
• Consolidate timesheets and submit to ADP.
• Set up direct deposit and tax withholding information.
• Maintain payroll records and respond to employee inquiries.
• Prepare reports such as 941 and 401k match verifications.
• Balance year-end W-2 data and payroll figures.
• Reconcile payroll with general ledger and support audits.
