Eis Group USA is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll processing on a full-time contract basis. The role emphasizes maintaining confidential records, handling payroll data carefully, and assisting with inquiries and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1-3 years of experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, finance administration, or related field.
• Basic understanding of payroll processing, wage calculations, deductions, and payroll taxes.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with payroll software, HRIS platforms, or accounting systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify employee payroll information including hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
• Review timesheets and payroll documentation for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain employee payroll data in systems.
• Assist with regular payroll cycles and deadlines.
• Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Support year-end payroll activities and related tax documents.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized payroll files for audits and reviews.
• Assist with payroll system updates, testing, and process improvements.
