Eis group usa is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk on a full-time contract to support accurate payroll processing, maintain employee records, and assist with payroll inquiries and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism; proficiency with Excel and payroll software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of payroll, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential payroll information professionally.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify employee payroll information including hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review timesheets and payroll docs for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in payroll and HR systems.
• Assist with regular payroll cycles and deadlines.
• Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Support year-end payroll activities and tax documents.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll issues.
• Assist with new hires, changes, terminations, and updates.
