Job summary

Legacy Payments Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to identify and close new merchant opportunities across our payment technology platforms, with fully remote work in the United States.

You will own the sales cycle from discovery through onboarding, build lasting client relationships, and drive portfolio growth in a performance-driven environment. This commission-only role rewards high achievers who can articulate value and close deals independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or business development within payments.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Ability to explain payment solutions in business terms.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage potential merchants to identify business opportunities.
• Conduct discovery calls and present payment solutions tailored to merchant needs.
• Manage the sales process from outreach through closing, onboarding, and activation.
• Build merchant relationships and identify retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records and pipeline updates.
• Collaborate with internal ops and partner teams for smooth onboarding.
• Stay informed on payment tech, industry trends and platform capabilities.
