Job summary

US Heart & Vascular is seeking a Remote Payment Posting Representative to accurately record and reconcile payments from patients, insurers, and third-party payers. This role requires keen attention to detail and strong billing knowledge, with experience in EMR systems. Remote, Mon-Fri schedule with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Responsibilities include posting daily payments, verifying data integrity, addressing discrepancies, and supporting cash posting workflows as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in revenue cycle management is required.
• Experience in healthcare or insurance billing processing is required.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPC codes and HIPAA regulations.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Post payments daily and reconcile with EMR batches.
• Receive and review payments from checks, EFTs, cards and ERA files.
• Verify payment amounts and patient/insurance details.
• Escalate discrepancies to appropriate staff.
• Assist with system-related cash posting issues.
