Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of general office experience with high-volume numeric data entry.
• Minimum 3 years in payment posting deposits, balancing, EFTs, ERAs, reconciliations in a medical billing/AR environment.
• Minimum 1 year translating payment posting error trends into process improvements.
• Intermediate Excel and Word proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Post daily bank deposits and research exception items.
• Apply payments, adjustments, and denials to customer accounts daily.
• Investigate EFT/credit card exceptions daily.
• Reconcile electronic postings for payors.
• Conduct end-of-day cash posting audits.
• Provide training and QA checks.
