Raintree Systems is seeking a Payment Reconciliation Specialist to ensure accurate deposits, posting, and follow-ups with payers in a fully remote role across designated US states. The position emphasizes timeliness, quality, and accuracy within a healthcare billing context.

Applicants should have 3+ years of medical insurance posting experience, knowledge of payer contracts and reimbursement rules, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience.
• Knowledge of payer contracts and government reimbursement rules.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google apps.
• Experience with payment posting software and A/R follow up.
• Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement policies.
• Experience with medical billing software; Raintree Systems is a plus.
• Strong math and accounting basics.
• Proactive with AI fluency to improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Update and maintain logs/spreadsheets for reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding deposits with payers.
• Identify information to clear posting errors.
• Participate in month-end closing.
• Retrieve remittances from payor websites as needed.
• Research unidentified payments for resolution.
• Identify patterns indicating issues and notify leads.
• Assist clients by answering inquiries.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits with billing and bank.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
