Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Healthcare Payer Product Consultant Lead to drive discovery, design, and optimization of payer solutions using Facets, .NET, and Azure. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage product lifecycles, and mentor others in a remote, day-shift environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering technology solutions within healthcare payer organizations.
• Strong expertise in Facets, including Membership, Enrollment, Benefits, Provider Management, Claims, and Configuration.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting applications built with .NET technologies, services, and APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, integration services, compute, and storage solutions.
• Deep understanding of healthcare payer operations, including benefit plans, provider networks, eligibility, enrollment, authorizations, and claims adjudication.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and analyze complex payer processes to translate stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements.
• Design and optimize Facets-based payer solutions, including configuration, data models, and business workflows.
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, release readiness, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, BAs, and QA teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Drive impact assessments and solution design for benefit plans, provider contracts, enrollment, eligibility, claims, and billing.
• Define and validate functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Mentor team members on healthcare payer operations, Facets capabilities, and Azure delivery best practices.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues, recommending enhancements for stability and outcomes.
• Support deployment planning, release management, and post-implementation monitoring.
