Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product & Benefits Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement healthcare product configurations within the Facets platform. You will work with analytics, claims, and operations teams to deliver scalable benefit solutions.

The role is remote in the United States, full-time, with salary up to $130,000 and eligibility for Cognizant’s incentive program. Strong Facets experience and healthcare payer knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Facets Product & Benefits configuration experience.
• Strong expertise in Facets Product & Benefits configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of healthcare benefit design, including copays, coinsurance, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, accumulators, limits, exclusions, and network variations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze benefit requirements, product documentation, regulatory mandates, and business needs to design effective Facets product and benefit configurations.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets Product & Benefits components that support accurate benefit administration and claims adjudication.
• Assess impacts across membership, provider networks, pricing, accumulators, claims processing, and downstream integrations.
• Develop configuration documentation, mapping artifacts, decision logs, and implementation support materials.
• Create and execute testing scenarios to validate benefit logic, including deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums, limits, and network-based benefits.
• Troubleshoot configuration defects, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, benefit changes, releases, and production implementations.
