Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Configuration Manager (Remote - US) to lead end-to-end configuration delivery for healthcare payer initiatives. You will work with business stakeholders, client leadership, and delivery teams to ensure governance, quality, and successful execution across multiple Facets areas.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in healthcare payer tech and 5+ years leading Facets projects, with strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and executive reporting abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Business/Healthcare/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of healthcare payer technology, implementation, configuration, or delivery experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading Facets configuration teams, projects, or large-scale implementations.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare payer operations, claims administration, and product management across Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid.
• Experience leading enterprise implementations, platform migrations, product launches, regulatory initiatives, or transformation programs.
• Proven success in managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and stakeholder groups.
• Experience with project planning, estimation, governance, RAID management, release management, resource coordination, and executive reporting.
• Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration delivery across multiple Facets functional areas.
• Translate requirements into scalable configuration solutions.
• Establish configuration standards, design controls, traceability, and approval frameworks.
• Manage scope, timelines, estimates, dependencies, releases, and readiness activities.
• Oversee configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Drive reviews, impact assessments, defect resolution, risk mitigation, and releases.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and allocation for onsite and offshore teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.
• Deliver executive reporting, governance updates, and delivery metrics.
