Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Healthcare Payer Functional/Technical Lead in the United States to guide Facets system integration and deliver innovative payer solutions. You will collaborate with clients, solution architects, and global teams to drive transformation programs.

Leadership in requirements, design, and delivery, plus experience with Facets and MS SQL/.NET/REST APIs, will be essential for success. Hybrid/remote/on-site arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Facets Membership and Enrollment lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of Facets backend data structures and data models.
• Proven expertise in Healthcare Payer Operations across Commercial and ASO.
• Experience leading solution design, architecture, and system integration.
• Facilitation of requirements sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore delivery teams in complex programs.
• Strong project estimation, planning, risk management, and delivery oversight.
• Excellent communication, consulting and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions and JAD discussions with client stakeholders.
• Analyze payer systems and processes to identify transformation opportunities.
• Design end-to-end Facets Membership and Enrollment solutions with specs.
• Provide technical and functional leadership to delivery teams.
• Drive project estimation, planning, risk management, and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve functional and technical challenges.
• Support platform modernization and migration from legacy systems to Facets.
• Promote AI-enabled software engineering and delivery practices.
