UChicago Medicine is seeking a Contracting Analytics Specialist in the Finance department. This role is primarily a work-from-home opportunity with the requirement to come onsite as needed, and you may be based outside the greater Chicagoland area.

The Specialist will build and model third-party payer contract terms, serve as a managed care subject matter expert, run analyses on historical trends, and support negotiations and reporting for VP and CFO.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 3+ years health care financial analysis and data modeling experience.
• Experience in multi-facility health systems or large academic medical centers is desirable.
• Knowledge of hospital and physician complex reimbursement methodologies incl. FFS and VBC.
• Strong MS-Drg, APC, EAPG, CPT coding familiarity and contract terms.

Responsabilidades

• Model current, proposed, and final contract pricing to assess revenue impact.
• Develop financial analytics for revenue optimization and reporting needs.
• Maintain contract management systems and audit rate calculations.
• Educate stakeholders on reimbursement terms and policy changes.
• Support pricing analyses for rate parity and transparency.
• Prepare materials for committees and executives related to contract terms.
