Southeast Orthopedic Specialists, LLC is seeking a Managed Care Contracting Analyst to work remotely. The role focuses on analyzing financial and operational performance of health care contracts, including Medicaid and HMO/PPO products, and supporting Revenue Cycle with data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of analytics experience in healthcare, knowledge of physician reimbursement, and comfort with relational databases and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in analytics/analyst role in a healthcare setting with knowledge of physician reimbursement.
• Two or more years’ experience with Revenue Cycle Billing.
• Knowledge of Payor Reimbursement process and Health Plan Billing timelines/regulations.
• Experience with relational databases, decision support systems, analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analysis of financial and operational performance of health care contracts, including impact of rate changes.
• Provide analysis for Medicaid and other Managed Care products (HMO, PPO, POS).
• Monitor and trend third-party reimbursement and denial analysis.
• Create financial models and reports for existing and new reports.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Contracting/Credentialing to optimize reimbursements.
