Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Patient Support Nurse to deliver education, care coordination, and psychosocial support to patients remotely. The role emphasizes telephonic engagement with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers across assigned therapeutic areas.

The position requires an RN license with a nursing degree and several years of nursing experience; nephrology experience is preferred. A fast-paced environment and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• AD or BSN in Nursing with a valid RN license in one or more states.
• Four+ years of nursing experience; telephonic experience a plus.
• Two+ years of nephrology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, reimbursement, and healthcare billing a plus.
• Clear communication skills; may be asked to submit a written test sample.
• Proficient with Microsoft products; comfortable with a digital CRM.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, and health care providers via telephonic channels.
• Establish relationships and trust with patients, caregivers, and providers in a telephonic setting.
• Counsel patients on product use, dosing, administration, and insurance coverage challenges.
• Maintain accurate patient records in a CRM and document adverse events per SOPs.
• Coordinate resources to share financial options for patients in need.
• Participate in program-specific orientation and training sessions.
