Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Patient Support Nurse to engage with program patients, identify barriers to therapy, and support successful initiation and continuation of treatment. You will educate on therapies, dosing, and potential side effects, while coordinating with insurers on coverage and cost considerations.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration across teams with remote-work eligibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• ~2-3 years of nursing experience with relevant disease state experience preferred.
• Nurseline triage, Call Center Utilization Management, Call Center Case Management experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Remote work eligibility is subject to all work from home criteria met and based on business need.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of program services, identifying barriers to therapy and helping the patient understand and navigate such barriers.
• Educate patients about clinical treatments and address emotions and financial implications of a new diagnosis.
• Explain proper administration and dosing of prescribed therapy.
• Coordinate with insurance payer to determine coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs, and resources for financial assistance when applicable.
• Support patients in managing stress related to their diagnosis.
• Triad patient to other support services as needed (social or other intervention programs).
• Report Adverse Events/ Product Complaints per SOP and good manufacturing practices.
• Adhere to training deadlines for corporate policies and procedures.
