Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Patient Support Nurse in Indiana to guide program patients from enrollment through treatment, addressing barriers and facilitating timely, positive experiences. The role emphasizes clinical knowledge, patient education, and collaboration with payers to ease access to therapies.

You will support patients’ treatment journeys, triage needs, and coordinate with teams to ensure adherence and satisfaction, while complying with SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN license in current practice state.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience, disease state experience preferred.
• Nurseline triage, Call Center Utilization Management, Call Center Case Management are a plus.
• Case management or Clinical Trial Nurse experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Remote work eligibility is subject to meeting all work-from-home criteria and business need.
• Flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of program services and identify barriers to therapy.
• Educate patients about clinical treatments, emotions, and financial implications of new diagnoses.
• Discuss therapy benefits and risks, and explain administration and dosing.
• Coordinate with insurance payers to determine coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
• Provide support to help manage stress related to the diagnosis.
• Encourage patient participation in additional non-program support when needed.
• Report Adverse Events/ Product Complaints per SOP and GMP.
• Meet training deadlines for corporate policies and procedures.
• Take on additional tasks or projects as assigned.
