Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond, Inc. is seeking a Call Center Specialist to handle incoming calls in a remote Virginia position. The role acts as the first point of contact for patients and staff, with occasional in-office visits required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a call center environment and/or in a medical practice is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule patient appointments for pulmonary and sleep.
• Enter demographic information into Allscripts accurately.
• Inform callers of arrival times, what to bring, and cancellation policy.
• Assist with EMR indexing and output queue as needed.
• Support scheduling of referrals and patient rescheduling.
