Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a medical or call-centre setting.
• Typing at least 45 wpm.
• Scheduling, registration, billing, or administrative assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, scheduling/confirming appointments, using a multiline phone, and data entry in the EPIC EPM system.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel physician appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Interview new patients to identify the proper clinic match and gather demographic and insurance information.
• Identify urgent scheduling needs and prioritize with the appropriate clinic.
• Resolve patient inquiries and facilitate financial screening services.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality and meet patient experience metrics.
• Follow standardized scheduling practices and use provided scripts.
• Collaborate with departments to provide patient-centered care.
