Axia Women's Health is seeking a remote Patient Scheduler to support patients on their healthcare journey with strong service and communication skills. You will schedule appointments, manage recalls, registrations, copay collection, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 1–2 years of customer service experience (call center preferred) and a High School Diploma or equivalent. This full-time position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Call Center experience preferred.
• MS Office, email and internet research proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with professional, courteous communication.
• Review recall appointments and no-show/cancellation reports.
• Route calls to appropriate personnel via transfer, paging, voicemail, or redirect as needed.
• Retrieve and route messages from the answering service.
• Perform registration for new or existing patients and activate files.
• Collect copayments and provide financial guidance on billing inquiries.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits.
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Document patient encounters thoroughly.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to HIPAA/ OSHA and SOPs; participate in quality initiatives.
