Job summary

Axia Women's Health, Oceanside OBGYN location, is seeking a Patient Services Representative to provide exceptional front-desk service, handle scheduling and registrations, verify insurance, and manage copays. This role supports patients across multiple coastal locations including Somers Point.

The PSR I works closely with clinicians and staff to maintain efficient clinic operations, comply with HIPAA and OSHA, and uphold Axia's patient-first mission.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication, both written and verbal.

• Strong time management and prioritization to support patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the appropriate waiting area.
• Schedule and modify patient appointments and registrations, ensuring smooth front-desk operations.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and clearly communicate benefit limitations.
• Collect copayments and maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and payments.
