Job summary

Duke Health, through the Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO), seeks a skilled professional to coordinate, prepare, and analyze complex accounts receivable and financial reports. You will review trends and advise DUHS and PDC leadership on conclusions and recommendations, acting as a subject-matter expert for billing and AR processes.

The role includes testing system changes, collaborating with IT teams, and mentoring staff in AR and financial data analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of four years of applicable experience.
• Master's degree in a related field can substitute two years of experience on a 1:1 basis.
• Knowledge of Epic and IT related training/testing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and analyze complex accounts receivable and/or financial reports.
• Review and analyze trends, advising PRMO, DUHS and PDC leadership regarding conclusions and recommendations.
• Serve as expert resource for billing and AR processes.
• Enter and test system changes related to billing and collections.
• Mentor staff regarding accounts receivable and financial data systems.
