Job summary

Valley Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Patient Resource Representative for a remote role within the Clinic Patient Resource Center. The role handles scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, estimates, and phone-based payments for Primary and Specialty Clinics.

Responsibilities include MyChart scheduling, referral workqueues, and outbound dialing. Requires call center experience, strong communication, and medical terminology knowledge. Training provided for Epic workflows.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED preferred.
• 2+ years call center experience or 1 year in a physician's office using EMR and multiple software programs.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients, verify insurance, prepare estimates and collect payments by phone.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for Primary and Specialty Clinics.
• Support MyChart scheduling and referral workqueues.
• Complete scheduling across departments per PRC protocols.
• Coordinate with resources and interpreters as needed.
